TRESSURE HAUNTS UB/TSHOLOFELO BOXING STABLE

:Botswana Boxing Association(BOBA)`s Re ba Bona Ha center at the Old Lobatse Town  diffused into center for attraction as boxing’s new royal Treasure Moremi dictated squared circle terms when demolishing the sorry Keamogetse Ditodi on Saturday 22 for the 13th inter-club tourney of the year after boxing’s call back by popular demand.

The BoBA Interclub tournament hosted by oldest club (BMC) had attracted the largest number of participants(92) from 14 affiliates.

Women bouts also skyrocketed to 8 bouts in such a donkey months.Notably the tourney featured international youth friendly  against  Zimbabwe to prepare team Botswana for region 5 games.

In top attention attraction bout Treasure known for his aggressive quick combination of pouches  has continued to haunt UB/Tsholofelo Boxing Stable boxers.

Treasure has previously set the club captain Kefentse Molalapata on fire who is eager for a  revenge.Treasure this time was matched with Ditodi who failed to stop the burning fire from Treasure as he kissed the canvas on two occasions.The centerman saved Ditodi in the third round to stop futher humiliation to hand Treasure a win by Referee Stop Contest(RSC).

Tressure remains the biggest nightmare to UB/Tsholofelo Boxing with yet to dance with Romeo Nkisa,Moemedi Rampape(56kg),Pitso Mmopiemang and an on demand rematch with Molalapata.

In other exciting bouts,a star in the making Oefile Chapo said  his sole mandate this year is winning gold in the Championship and winning the hearts of national team selectors after dominantly getting past Reetsang Modise by unanimous decision.It was Chapo’s 9 straight win this year without a loss.Camm Manewe stamped authority as he schooled Romeo Nkisa to come nice to win by unanimous decision.

Atang Mosenke of Prisons proved to be too much for Maun`s Thabang Mmusi  in the to win by RSC.

Mmoloki Thipe tactically dominated Thabang  Methikga using great reflexes and counter punching to his advantage. Thipe won by unanimous decision.

In the ladies dancing,Lethabo Modukanele forced the refree`s intervention to win by uninimous decision againgst school of exella Lucas Marion.

Jennifer Moroka won by a split decision to another school of exella Oteng Letloa.In an evenly matched bout,the recipient of promising female boxer of the year Tshepaone Wowanga had it tough against Makaba Nametsegang.Tshepaone controversially won by unanimous decision.
 
In the eagerly much anticipated youth friendly, the reigning promising boxer of the year Brian Galemongwe(64kg) won by unanimous decision against his Zimbabwean opponent Almighty Moyo.

The AUSC 75kg bound Thabang Mmusi saw red as Adneta Mabeza of Zimbabwe stopped him by unanimous decision.

The BOBA mouthpiece Taolo Tlouetsile says that the boxers are on camp until the 28th of September.

“as the schools were closing this will have be the opportune time for all the athletes  coming together in meeting the coaches because they go to different schools and coaches work at different places so this is an opportune time for the team to come together”said Tlouetsile.

Tlouetsile continued to elaborate that the team may have a friendly although not confirmed before school openings.He futher thanked the affliates for facilitating the youth team in inter-clubs tourneys in  preparations to AUSC games.

The next inter-club tourney is on the 6th of October to be hosted by Maun boxing club.

The youth boxing team will also battle it out with their age mates in region 5 games this December in Gaborone.
