When some thought all was over for the “speed fire 16v” as affectionately known in the footballing circles, Township Rollers seems to have a new mission for him and his team with his lethality in the goal post.
The Lotlhakane-East born talisman found his scoring boots this season after a scrappy one last season due to his injury and suspensions, Mogorosi scored a hat-trick on a Saturday evening against a struggling Sankoyo Bush Bucks to make it at the national stadium.
Maybe his first brace against Black Forest gave him the confidence to score the hat-trick which one will hope he deserves it after a sloppy last season that was accompanied by injuries and suspensions. He scored in the first half with two goals coming late in the second half with the help of a penalty on the way.
“it’s good to be scoring goals and helping the team collect points and I am happy about myself getting goals, but that’s not my primary target, the target is to win the league and think of accolades like top goal scorer”. Joel said.
If this performance is anything to go by, we are heading into a memorable season on Mogorosi by his goal scoring abilities.Mogorosi hat-trick ensured that he is the current BTC premiership top goal scorer with 5 goals after 4 games and puts his team Township Rollers on position 4 with 10 points.
The Mogorosi hatrick also cemented a 4 1 victory for Township Rollers with goals from his team mate Segolame Boy and a consolation goal by Oabile Bathusi.
