TLHALOSANG TSHIRELETSO SETS A NR(16.66m)

Bring on nationals let me pull off an NR in the triple, these are the words of field events star Tlhalosang Tshireletso SPORTSNATION ahead of the weekend’s Debswana National Athletics Championship that was held at Obed Chillume Stadium.
Tlhalosang Tshireletso has set a new National Record(NR) in Triple Jump, flying 16.77 m at the just ended athletics championship.
Previously, the NR was held by Gable Garenamotse at 16.66m from July 3rd, 1999.
When speaking to this publication recently, the athletics star lamented;
“In 5 years will come to the end of my athletics career, and I am looking forward to having had a great one, a couple of international medals. Then continue being an academic and a coach.”
Reportedly, the jump is said to be the best in Africa outdoor and 9th in the world outdoor.
The 30-year-old is under the tutelage of coach Guy Spencer of the UB Athletics Club.
