ROLLERS FC REIGN SUPREME

By:Tirelo Mosielele

Week 11 of the BTC premiership had one of the biggest fixture on the cards this afternoon at the GC derby where Rollers had to teach GU some football manners after a 1-0 win at the national stadium.

The game started at a high intensity with Rollers getting a better share of the ball in the first half which paid dividends on the 18th minute when Segolame Boy sloted home a long range shot outside the box to beat Goitseone Phoko and make it 1-0 which forced GU to make an early change as they introduced Alphonse Modisaotsile to stabilize the midfield.

It was arguably Rollers half as they controlled everything with the likes of Cooper and Boy who posed a man of the match performance in the middle of the park doing the damage, although on the second half GU introduced also Jackie Mothatego to help crowd the midfield which was already getting out of their control as their maestro in Dirang Moloi was out on suspension, Jackie added much value which contributed on the teams only shots on target of the game but failed to convert its chance.

On other games played today,Sharps won Gunners by 2-0 in Lobatse from the double header which was started by BDF XI and Sankoyo Bush Bucks lovely draw earlier on the dayat Molepolole, Notwane and Prisons shared the spoils after a 1 all draw while in Serowe BR Highlanders proved stronger than Miscellaneous as they got passed them by a solitary goal.
