Week 7 of the BTC premiership saw our local giants being Township Rollers and Extension Gunners go head-to-head in Lobatse with the bluetrain unsurprisingly emerging victors.
Right after the first minute whistle was blown, Rollers showed intentions of stilling the game in front of its massive home supporters by the dangerous of a lanky striker from Joel Mogorosi and Tumisang Orebonye who kept the opponents defenders in check.
Clearly the first half was owned by Rollers as it paid dividends on the 31st minute when Orebonye slots in a match deciding goal from Mosha Gaolaolwe cross.
On the second half Gunners was a changed team taking the game to Rollers and creating clear cut chances which they unfortunately failed to convert.
On the other games played today, Prisons XI continued its struggle after falling 1-0 from BR Highlanders at Otse, as in Molepolole it was a six goal thriller although Black Forest had much of them after walloping Sankoyo by 4-2.
Orapa United is still yet to lose at home when they got passed the troubled Gaborone United by 3-1 while on the last fixture of the day which was filled with bee drama which delayed the game for some time in Jwaneng, Sharps got away with a point after a 1 all draw from Galaxy.
Rollers, BDF XI and Galaxy are the only teams yet to taste defeat this season. Match day 7 continues on Sunday.
