RAJAB MOHAMMED HIGHLIGHTS DEBSWANA BOXING AWARDS

GABORONE:Rajab Otukile Mohammed might be a combination of Christiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi of Botswana boxing.
For the longest time the duo has been celebrated to be consistent winners of the all famous Ballorn dor,so is Rajab Mohammed in local boxing awards ceremonies.
This past weekend the 52kg African Champion won the prestigious male of boxer of the year again at Debswana Boxing Awards,adding yet another trophy to the young fellas rich cabinet.
Rajab Mohammed ‘s success in Botswana boxing circles dates back in 2014 when he erupted as a champion in 2nd Gaborone Youth Games under the tutelage of national team mentor Lechezhani “Master” Luza after a careful and wonderful masterpiece nourishing by his club coach Keleagetse Ntong.
The 22 year old had an illustrious tenure in 2014 as he won another gold from the Africa Union Sports Commission (AUSC) games.Rajab since then has been nominated for Debswana Boxing Awards winning left,right and center including Botswana National Sports Commission‘s Botswana Sports Awards.
RAJAB MOHAMMED WINS BOXER OF THE YEAR AWARD
Precisely,Rajab Mohammed had won the young male promising boxer of the year from 2013 till 2015. Rajab this year defended his male boxer of the year award.
The ambitious lightweight Olympic contender says that boxing is all about bravery,setting a goal and working extra hard to attain it.
Rajab further alluded that his achievements can be attributed to his coaches for always pushing him to do his level best.He notes that his achievements means that there is more expectations and pressure on him.
“This award means that I have to put more effort in maintaining to be at the top,concludes Otukile”.
