Orapa United gaffer, Mogomotsi ‘Teenage’ Mpote has been for a while becoming one of the sweetest and finest assets in our local football coaching fraternity.
One might say Mogomotsi Mpote departure at Township Rollers was a blessing in disguise, since then the gaffer had a test of his life through his coaching experience.
Mogomotsi Mpote was mandated to lead the national team at the 2018 COSAFA and took them to the finals, many people after that thought he will be given responsibility but it did not happen.
He later had a bit of a hiccup at his club Orapa , when the management decided to demote him to junior ranks pertaining his poor run of form. The man was not demoralized by that and kept on focusing on his goals to succeed.
The management then re-tasked him to take charge of the senior team which led to many successes on the way, he was the first coach to win the inaugural Orange FA Cup last year and became coach of the tournament.
Like that was enough for his resume, fast forward to 2020, he is currently joint league leaders with Jwaneng Galaxy at 37 points and patiently waiting for Township Rollers in Francistown for the season 9 Mascom Top 8 final.
Lets disagree to agree,Mpote is slowly but surely becoming a machine.
