Third game of the Mascom top 8 quarter finals at Jwaneng see Jwaneng Galaxy the first team to win at home and also with a convincing win after beating Sharps Shooting Stars by 2-0.
With not that much attendance on the day, that did not stop the boys to express themselves with the cool weather favoring them, the game was fairly balanced.
On the 27th minute Galaxy had to make a forced sub after Wilfred Dithwane`s injury and was replaced by Olebogeng Malebye who did not last long to show his qualities as when in the 41st minute he scored an opener to take his team to the first half with a 1-0 lead.
Sharps came with a different tactical approach on the second half with an aim to find an important away goal which was not the case until the 90th minute when Patrick Kaunda made sure Galaxy have a comfortable lead going to the second leg when he slot home the second goal.
Lebogang “CCTV” Ditsele was awarded the third man of the match accolade after his brave performance he displayed on the day.
