EXCITING BTC PREMIERSHIP FOOTBALL AHEAD

BY:Tirelo Mosielele

Week 11 of the BTC premiership continues after it commenced on midweek with some exciting fixtures lined up from this Friday`s evening to Sunday.

Friday big giants are in our football scene who are are pitted together for supremacy as the army forces in Police XI and BDF XI take it to Otse ground with only one point separating the two teams, BDF suffered its first lost lately which was a step back and maybe a learning curve to improve on their impressive start to the season while in the Police camp, Matebele should think twice as they are one of the in-form teams now after sliding giants like Galaxy and Orapa United.

On the last game of Friday which was rescheduled from Saturday at the national stadium, Notwane will have a visit from Mochudi as Center Chiefs will be in town for maximum points.

Going into Saturday afternoon, arguably the biggest fixture of the weekend on paper, the log leader Township Rollers will welcome their seconding team in Orapa United which will try close the three point gap they are having. Mpote from Orapa will be going back home as its interim coach to face his old family which may add value to the ostriches as he know Rollers culture but on the other side one may argue that it will be easy for Motang to plan for Mpote as he knew him well.

The day will continue at Jwaneng as Gunners will travel, to redeem themselves on the now inconsistent Galaxy which lost its touch on their last two games, although Lobatse will not be left alone with BR Highlanders is determined to collect as many points they can but now at  the hands of Black Forest.

Gaborone United will take a long trip to Serowe to conclude the activities of the day with a fierce battle from struggling Miscellaneous.

Sunday is not filled with much action as only two games will take place with one at Molepolole where another forceful sides in Security Systems and Prisons XI shall play to battle their relegation threats as early as now, while in the tourism town of Maun, the arguably best performing team so far in Sharps Shooting Stars with its limited resources will like to continue their impressive run on the handicapped Sankoyo Bush Bucks which is also battling the relegation zone.

Teams shall break for the FIFA week and return for the Mascom top 8
