BTC PREMIERSHIP WEEK 5 GETS UNDERWAY

BY:Tirelo Mosielele

The BTC Premiership week 5 gets underway this weekend with all teams fixtured to play.

Like as usual, the first game of the weekend commences on Saturday afternoon with six games compiled for the day.

Sportsnation head to the third double header of the season at the national stadium where Gaborone United will have a chart with newly promoted side BR Highlanders.

Gaborone United has been struggling for a while now in the BTC Premiership till last week where they resurrected from bottom of the league after they paid a debt of -2 points which could be a positive going into this fixture.

Although Highlanders has not been performing relatively well as one might argue that they are new and still adapting into the situation, they can not be overruled looking at their track record over the past with big teams like Township Rollers.

On other fixtures of the day,Orapa United will welcome Mochudi Centre Chiefs at its home ground Itekeng stadium while at Jwaneng, Galaxy will look to keep its fifth clean sheet in a row for this season when they meet just on form Black Forest.

Bragging rights will be renewed at Molepolole as Pio Paul of Notwane will face his old club he promoted to the league Sharps Shooting Stars while at Lobatse ,Prisons will see themselves with a task to climb the Peleng hills if they want to defeat Extension Gunners.

On the last fixture of the day and also another dose of the double header Rollers will face Sankoyo Bush Bucks in the evening.

Moving to the two fixtures of Sunday,Molepolole will see itself with visitors of Security Systems and Police XI with an aim to see who is the best security provider in the country while on the last fixture of the weekend the log leaders of BDF XI will be hosted in Serowe Complex by Miscellaneous.

All BTC Premiership games of the weekend shall commence on the afternoon at 4 pm except the Rollers vs Sankoyo fixture which will go at 7 pm due to its double heading template.
