BY:Gaonyadiwe Bateng

GABORONE:The Botswana Netball team today consecutively lost their fourth game  after playing against Lesotho at University of Botswana Sports Arena at the on going Region 5 Youth Games  hosted in Gaborone, Botswana.

The team has a goal difference of -106 after only few hours of net-balling. Botswana played a hectic match today where they lost 51 to 59 of Lesotho, the first game of Lesotho which gave them a very huge hope of winning more games to come on their way.

Besides failing to win the whole game, team Botswana did all they could do and tryed their best to make sure that they lose at at least a less margin which got them to position 7 with no point in the Netball games. On the previous games, Botswana played  their first game up against Zambia where they lost 24~54, followed by playing against Namibia again losing 39~44 and also against South African young ladies where SA team won gave Botswana a game gap of 63 go (83~19).

This does not make the team Botswana to loss hope as they still think can win the remaining  games and maybe go out with atleast a some few points. The netball games of which where scheduled for today where concluded by Malawi winning 68~29 against Namibia.

The log standings as of day 5 is that South Africa leads the pack with twelve points followed by Malawi at 8 points,Zimbabwe comes third with 6 points and Zambia is forth with only four points.Lesotho follow suit with 2 points a piece and lastly the home side with zero points with negative 106 goal difference after only four games.

The netball schedule is at 8am,10pm and 12pm at UB Indoor Sports Arena.
