BOTSWANA BADMINTON DUO GRABS BRONZE MEDALS

Botswana badminton`s celebrated stars have grabbed two bronze medals from the just ended Botswana International Badminton Championship 2021 that was held in Lobatse from the 25th to the 29th of November 2021.
The duo is men’s doubles smashers Tumisang Olekantse/Tshepo Perekisi and Women’s Doubles dare doubles Tebogo Ndzinge/Tessa Kabelo.
Men’s Double was won by South Africa’s shuttle blockers Jarred Eliot/Robert Summars from 32 participating stars from 10 countries.
Meanwhile, South Africa continued its dominance by scoping the Women’s Doubles crown thanks to renowned racketeers Amy Ackerman/Johanita’s powerful partnership.

BOTSWANA BADMINTON PARTICIATED BY 11 COUNTRIES

In total, the Botswana badminton tournament attracted 70 singles entries from 11 countries.
In a telephone interview with SPORTSNATION,Olekantse reveled that Botswana International was a great opportunity to play with international players of high quality standard.
He stated that the competition “helped me with new knowledge and experience which I’ll carry on with me to other International tournament in near future.”
Badminton has been mute for the last three years due to some administration issues in addition to the noval COVID-19 pandemic.
