:Affiliate of the year UB/Tsholofelo Boxing Stable will this Saturday afternoon host the first inter-club of the year sanctioned by Botswana Boxing Association(BOBA) at UB student center following a tremendous 2018 fun filled with ring dancing throughout the year and ease December off season.
BOBA hosts an  inter-club tournament every two weeks where its affiliates come together at a particular  fighting arena and ring dance. This affiliates hosts the tournament on rotational criterion depending on who is ready to host the tourney on that particular week or month.
BOBA competitions Coordinator Mr Tanaka Rauwe says the inter-clubs are also used as a selection format for national team representation as they are also monitory tool for national team boxers performance.A particular participation rate is set on this inter-clubs for a shot in the national championship.Though BOBA had not had luck in recent years in attracting positive publicity, sponsorship, competitions, support and television rights it has managed to host almost all the blue printed inter-clubs, and eventually the most talked about National Boxing Championship in 2018.

In the process stars were born, elevated and celebrated. The most easily recognized one is the king of welterweight division Treasure Moremi who haunted UB boxers and other boxers from January to November and eventually defeated Mmoloki Thipe in category A+ bout in the finals of the championship.

In the year 2019 all stars will be back in the squared circle from Saturday, both new, upcoming and established hoping to make a name for themselves.
