Botswana Boxing Association(BOBA) and EMG Boxing cordially sanctioned 25 bouts in BOBA inter-club tourney overseeing 13 unanimous decisions and 6 RSCs over the weekend Saturday June 23 at Selebi-Phikwe BDF Hall.
Out of 25, 7bouts were youth category including 1 lady bout where Onkgopotse Jane won by unanimous decision over Marion Lucas.
The middleweight in the elite category featured only 3 bouts.
Tshepang Kapinga,Oteng Bareeleeng and Atang Mosenke of Prisons won by unanimous decisions over opponents Ketshabile. Machola,Clayton Lucus and Khamalo Chabula of Thebephatso respectively.
Khumalo Chabula registered his second consecutive loss after an infamous loss to Lentswe Zwinilwa at 69kg.
In main attraction bouts,Treasure Moremi took a trip with his form from Gaborone to Selibe-Phikwe and moved down to 60kg to box Tshiamo Molabola of GlenValley and easily dominate the bout to force the referee’s intervention.
In an absolute upset Mmoloki Thipe of Prisons terribly lost by unanimous decision to Boifang Kenaope of Francistown.
Otukile Mohammed,Olefile Chapo,George Molwanta and Ezekiel Tiro successful won by unanimous decisions to Bakang Mese,Ellies Molhomi and Tshepiso Mojathose respectively.
The inter-club tourneys continues leading up to the much anticipated National Championship in October/November.
The next tourney will be on the 7th of July.
