MASCOM TOP 8 JUDGEMENT THIS WEEKEND

Mascom Top 8 final season 9 is coming to a close this weekend in the afternoon at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown, with the awards ceremony billed for the day.

Township Rollers and Orapa United will like to redeem themselves from what looks to be a tough season for them, the two teams meet for the third time in the Mascom Top 8 final.

The first installment was in 2016 where Ostriches won 3-1 and it was regarded as one of the best games ever witnessed in the country.

The second final was in 2018 again in Francistown but this time Popa  was in a better mood with their new mentor Nikola Kavazovic leading the pack to a convincing 4-2 win.

Rollers coach Frank Nuttal is on his first real test in the cup final while Orapa’s gaffer Teenage Mpote has in the past terrorized his former employers.

The winner of the mascom top 8 walks away with 1.4 million.
